Job Description

Summary: 

 Responsible for placing all procurement orders and completing all accompanying paperwork and documentation. Position maintains accurate and up to date inventories and creates, updates and maintains corresponding excel spreadsheets. Responsible for ensuring all tickets are updated within the time expected and the various departments have the paperwork and information necessary to complete their work on time. Do monthly price checks of various products we are purchasing and update forms accordingly. Ensures that purchasing policy is followed and documents complete. 


Position Location: North Hills, CA

Salary Range: $50,430 up to $58,525 per year

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university.
  • Related experience would be maintaining up to date inventories, purchasing and PO’s, organizing and shipping.

  • Extensive excel work could also be considered for the position.

  • Must pass Excel testing.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret product pricing, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write emails that conform to prescribed style and format.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office; Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft PowerPoint; Microsoft Outlook; QuickBooks; internet software; and asset management software.

  • Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours
