Job Description

Summary: 

The Childcare Coordinator organizes and trains childcare staff, as well as provides childcare using Interactive Play with children.  PFF Outreach Coordinator will seek out appropriate community partners to educate about PFF services offered.  Outreach Coordinator will also conduct outreach as directed by the Project Manager. Childcare Coordinator/Outreach Coordinator will represent all Penny Lane programs in a positive and professional manner.   Additional duty for Outreach Coordinator is to maintain updated community resources, including contacts, criteria and other important information.  Assist staff with planning and implementing Outreach Events/Family Activities at the office or in the community.


Position Location: Lancaster, CA


 

Salary Range: $15.64 up to $17.72 per hour

 

Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Childcare Coordinator/Outreach Coordinator must have at least two (2) years’ experience in provision of direct services to low income and ethnically diverse clients, some childcare experience or BA in Social Work or related field of study.
  • Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.
  • Bilingual Spanish Preferred
