Job Description

Penny Lane Centers is a non-profit organization offering an array of children's social services in Southern California in the areas of Adoptions, Family Preservation, Foster Care, Mental Health, Residential Treatment Facilities, Transitional Services and Wraparound Services. Penny Lane was founded in 1969 to originally serve a handful of abused teens. Since that time our programs and services have expanded to serve thousand of children, youth and families each year. Our mission is to foster hopes and dreams by empowering children, youth and families to reach their highest potential. We are seeking individuals to join our team who have high standards and a desire to positively impact the lives of others. 

Summary: 

The case manager is responsible for assisting and advocating for clients and their families to access needed resources in the community and conduct outreach services. These services include but are not limited to mental health, medical, educational, social, prevocational, vocational, rehabilitative and other community services. The Case Manager also assists the treatment team in helping clients and their families reach their treatment objectives by providing rehab, collateral and consultation services.

 


Position Location: Lancaster CA


 

Salary Range: $18.77 up to $21.15 per hour

Bilingual Spanish $1.00 differential per hour

 

Job Requirements

  •  Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in psychology, social work, or related field; or current enrollment in such a BA program, together with at least two years of relevant experience and/or training; or two or more years of mental health experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish
    Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.
