Job Description

Summary:
Under the direction of the Quality Improvement Supervisor (QI Supervisor), and in consultation with the Clinic Quality Improvement Director, the Quality Assurance Specialist will work to ensure that all chart documentation is accurate and in compliance with DMH standards. In conjunction with the QI Supervisor, the Quality Assurance Specialist will assist with ensuring the quality improvement in the clinic program by conducting chart audits and making sure that corrections are made in a timely manner. The Quality Assurance Specialist will also assist with tracking assigned staff’s submission of documents, and gathering statistical information as needed/requested.
Position Location: Lancaster, CA
Salary Range: $15.40 up to $19.12 per hour
Job Requirements
- Less than a College Degree
- 1 or more years of experience related to DMH documentation and/or maintaining charts in a clinic setting.
- Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours
