Job Description
We are seeking individuals to join our team who have high standards and a desire to positively impact the lives of others.
Summary:
The PFF Case Aide provides direct client services with support in parenting skills and general home management to PFF families. The CA teaches (Zumbini, NPP, Domestic Violence support groups, Infant Massage, lactation consulting) through education and in- home demonstrating, a variety of life skills that promotes safe environments for children. This position will also assist with Outreach Activities for PFF families and the community. The CA assists the family with connecting to the linkages by providing transportation and on-site support, assist with purchases of concrete support items. The CA at the direction of the Project Manager, assists in internal and external capacity building/family activities. CA may also provide childcare during parenting or other classes/appointments, on an as needed basis.
Position Location: Commerce, CA
Salary Range: $16.64 up to $19.50 per hour
Additional $1.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential
Job Requirements
- BA in Social Work or related field of study.
- Or minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and must have at least two (2) years’ experience in provision of direct services to low income and ethnically diverse clients.
- Bilingual Spanish Required.
- Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.
