Summary:
The Community Worker is a direct service provider to Intensive Services youth, adults, and their families, functions according to the Intensive Services process, and participates on the client’s multi-disciplinary team. The Community Worker operates from a strengths-based, client-centered, team-driven, community-based perspective. The Community Worker will practice solution-focused problem solving. The Community worker provides outreach, support, advocacy, system orientation, mentoring, and other supportive services to clients. The Community Worker assist in the provision of services to clients and patients by providing linkage, and rehabilitation.
The Community worker must be able to work from a strengths-based perspective with clients. This position requires the ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with clients. The Community worker must be able to work independently and utilize organization and time management skills to meet the requirements of the position. This position requires knowledge and understanding of the health, mental health, or social services programs to which the position is assigned, and the problems of the community group being served.
Position Location: Lancaster, CA
Salary Range: $18.77 up to $21.15 per hour
Additional $1.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential
